Program Highlights for Tuesday 13th January, 2009

We started the show with Dire Straits "Money for Nothing". After last week's show where we accidentally played the de-faggotted version, we thought we better make up for it, and play the version which had the little faggot all back in place!

First up this week is the next in our series of the top 4 selling singles of a year of the 80's. This week it's 1986.

Track 1: Broken Wings - Mr Mister #4
Track 2: How will I know - Whitney Houston #3
Track 3: Say you Say me - Lionel Richie #2
Track 4: That's what friends are for - Dionne Warwick #1

Next our guest is our program support faithful Cam's brother Grant, who came in to help us appreciate a music style he says is sadly lacking from our dance floors these days. That style is "Tech House" and Grant educated us all on what this style is and where it came from.

Track 1: Peep Show - Freaky Disco ft DAIR (Nathan Coles Remix)
Track 2: Get On Down - Voodoo Chilli
Track 3: Love Trap - Timewriter
Track 4: Vision of Paradise - Bob Sinclar

And if you want to hear what Grant had to say, the podcast is available here.

Next, we took a look at both the ARIA and AIR charts for the week. Chris was very excited that Rhys has finally hit the charts at #42 with his debut single "Hot Summer". Yay for the local gay boy who can dance, sing and sizzle!

Also Lady Gaga is #1 with "Poker Face" this week. With here new Single "Eh Eh" also debuting on the charts at #38.

Which leads into our next Four Play - Lady Gaga!.

Track 1: Eh Eh (Nothing More I Can Say)
Track 2: Just Dance
Track 3: I Like It Rough
Track 4: Poker Face

Finally tonight, David Gray, with four songs from his album released in 1999 called White Ladder.

Track 1: Babylon
Track 2: Sail Away
Track 3: Please Forgive Me
Track 4: This years Love

Hope you enjoyed, have a great week.

Jay and Chris
