Hi All, just a quick note to say we've caught up on the guest podcasts, so if you missed what Cam said about the Pussy Cat Dolls, or what Liam had to say about Blondie, get yourself across to the podcasts and have a listen now.

Don't forget to tune in tonight. 9pm - 11pm. JOY 94.9.
Cheers
Chris and Jay
Well, it's been a very busy time and while we've managed to get a show together each week, the blog has been let slip for a couple of weeks. For that we apologise. Remember, if there is ever anything you want to know about the tracks we play, just email us at fourplay@joy.org.au.
We opened the show tonight with Vandalizym's "Never say Never".
Then stepped straight back to 1985. The year "We are the world" was recorded by "USA for Africa", Billy Joel married Christie Brinkley, AM Stereo broadcasting started in Australia, and Ray Martin took over from Mike Walsh as host of the midday variety program on Channel Nine.
Track 1: Money for Nothing - Dire Straits #4
Track 2: Out of Touch - Hall and Oates #3
Track 3: Wake Me Up Before You Go Go - Wham #2
Track 4: Like a Virgin - Madonna #1
Next our special guest Liam, showcased a great band which started in the Seventies, and continues to this day, starting out of New York, but with their initial success here in Australia and the UK, we took a listen to Blondie.

Track 1: Heart of Glass
Track 2: Atomic
Track 3: Denis
Track 4: Call Me
Thanks for Liam for once again coming into the studio and giving us lots of information and lots of laughs along the way!
Next, Jay showcased another of his UK stars with very little exposure here in Australia. Leon Jackson won the 2007 series of X Factor and released his debut album earlier this year.
Track 1: When You Believe
Track 2: Don't Call this love
Track 3: Right Now
Track 4: Creative
Last up, we highlighted a local Australian independent artist, Charles Jenkins. He released an album back in October, with his band the Zhivagos, called Blue Atlas.
Track 1: Rolling into Houston
Track 2: Across the Nullabor
Track 3: Then Stenographers Blues
Track 4: No Fun (Johnston St)
We hope you enjoyed tonights show.
As usual, thanks for listening, thanks for all your messages and have a great week.
Jay and Chris
