Program Highlights for Tuesday 20th January, 2009

We started the show with Beyonce's "Single Ladies (put a ring on it)" tonight.

First up this week is the next in our series of the top 4 selling singles of a year of the 80's. This week it's 1987.

Track 1: Block Rockin' Beats
Track 2: Out of Control
Track 3: It Began in Afrika
Track 4: Hey Boy Hey Girl

You can hear the podcast of what Mike and Shane had to say (and what they put Jay and Chris through)
here.

Next, we took a look at both the ARIA and AIR charts for the week.

A band that has charted significantly over the past 26 weeks, here in Australia, with two major single releases is MGMT. We thought we would give you a bit more of a listen and some background regarding their debut album, Oracular Spectacular.

Track 1: Time to Pretend
Track 2: Electric Feel
Track 3: Of Moons, Birds & Monsters
Track 4: Kids

Finally tonight, four songs from the Australian recording of Wicked the Musical.

Track 2: What is this feeling
Track 3: Popular
Track 4: Defying Gravity

Hope you enjoyed, have a great week.

Jay and Chris
